What do I need?

To use the Freshtel MobileLink service, all you need is:

• A mobile phone handset currently supported by our service.
• A Wi-Fi connection
  (for details on how to setup Wi-Fi on your handset, see the Wi-Fi Setup section below).

How does it work?

1. At home or at work.

When you’re near a Wi-Fi connection you can begin setting up.

2. Register an account.

Fill out your details via the registration page. If you are already have a Freshtel account, simply enter your number and password and we can automatically fill in your details.

3. Send an SMS.

SMS the number provided to begin the setup process. Please note: you will be charged $1 for the message (plus standard network charges) and we will credit your account with $2 so that you will be able to make paid calls immediately.

4. Wait for your welcome SMS.

We’ll send you the link to install the application on your phone. When you click on the link your phone will start downloading the application.

5. Start installing.

Press a few buttons when your phone asks you to and continue installing the application.

6. Done. Time to activate!

When your installation is complete it will ask you if you’d like to activate your account. Once you do, our network will take your details, activate your account and even send out your account configuration to your handset.

7. Online and ready to call.

Once you save your account configuration, the application will connect to our secure network and you’ll be online ready to make free and paid calls to the value of your initial credit.

8. Call right away.

Now all you need to do is let your friends know about this service, regardless of what mobile phone network provider they use.

Wi-Fi Setup

Follow these simple steps to get a Wi-Fi connection setup on your mobile phone handset.

1. Select Menu.
2. Select Connect.
3. Choose the WLAN wizard.
4. Press Search.
5. Select the Wi-Fi access point.
6. Enter the pre-shared key.
7. You should be connected to the Wi-Fi access point.
